Our Services

“Music Therapy is the clinical & evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program” (AMTA 2024)

Music therapy sessions look different for every individual because everyone IS an individual. Kirsten will work with you/your child to assess, evaluate, and target functional skill areas such as speech/language, social-emotional, cognitive and motor skills. At the heart of music therapy interventions is the music itself. You/your child’s preferences are always considered when designing therapeutic music interventions; both in terms of the style of music used as well as preferred ways of engaging.
